In recent years, with the further development of township construction, the labor force entering the city due to the expansion of urbanization is not completely limited to the development of the city and gradually returns home, and the "new left-behind groups" emerge as The Times require.

On the whole, the "new left-behind groups" serve as a bridge, connecting the urban and rural areas with the media as a means of communication, and narrowing the distance between "duality". With their own power, they present to more people the invisible rural scene in the city. However, the Internet is just like a big net, which deconstructs and filters the information while transmitting it. For this group, compared to stay in rural to receive the baptism of the soil, leaving the rural it seems easier, is to choose fled to get more salary get material satisfaction, or choose a simple life with the company of family from mental comfort, this game - a choice between "home" or "leave" may become the new thinking. Once you choose the option of "stay", it is the young and middle-aged who still have a lot of time to spend, but they are not greeted by the poetic pastoral we see now.

Therefore, after the screen and in the real world, what kind of life state is the "new left-behind youth" in? Have you brought substantial changes to your life through new media channels? Is this a universal phenomenon? The designers hope that through the work of information visualization, show their real life state, rebuilding the city of "we" for this group of people, by the results of objective to give the audience the open, to inspire the audience to rethink the city dwellers and new left-behind community relations between cognition, in building a real image of rural life, objective view to return to country.

I came to a small village alone, and try to use the anthropological and sociological methods of research, access to data.

I stayed in this small village for more than 30 days during the Spring Festival, which happens to be the Chinese New Year. Therefore, there is a phenomenon that a large number of young people who have left their hometown will return to their hometown during this period, and the cultural atmosphere during this period is very strong, so I have the opportunity to get more information in a relatively short time.
During this period, I mainly followed three people, tried to record their daily life, and interviewed them to obtain the required data and relevant insights. Finally, the presentation was around the information generated by these three people.

In order to let the audience have a better experience, I set up based on the design purpose and the space design of the audience into the exhibition hall after browsing move line, and a series of interactive forms, I try to let the audience to get information from multiple dimensions, and through voice, manual book, video and let the audience from vision, not just at the same time from the sense of touch, hearing can be perceived. Let the audience in an immersive atmosphere through the senses to obtain information and resonance.

Through immersive space, multi-sensory experience is mobilized, allowing the audience to feel rather than just get information

In fact this project is far from over, the exhibition is just a small nodes, and after the exhibition, caused more people's attention and discussion, at the same time, a group of junior students and I once again return to the countryside in the holiday, and contributing to the rural residents of the they can do as a designer.

It's still in progress……
